Cube World!

Hey guys, I’m rather excited to bring some news to you who may or may not be aware of a game called Cube World. It is a fantastic game that is currently in alpha, but is a very feature-filled and stable role-playing game. Due to my recent interest in this game, I’ve decided that I will hopefully be hosting a Cube World Livecraft server. No worries, however; I will never replace the Minecraft side of things, so no need to worry about the two servers conflicting. For those interested, this game is experimental and currently in alpha, so the future of this server will not be concrete.

Note: The server is not online 24/7 and will only be online when it is ready (when I get an init.d script working).

[OFF TOPIC] Livecraft’s Mascot

So, as you may or may not have noticed, LC’s “mascot” is the little creature in the roll SWF. A friend of mine shared that with me some time ago, and I posted it on my personal website, then shared it with Jon shortly after. Here’s the details about the SWF.

The song comes from a looped bit of Help Me, ERINNNNN!, specifically between 1:02 and 1:22.

The creature thing rolling is called the Super Happy Puppy Whirl.. Which has been around for a while, apparently. I picked up a (low-res) original. Hit that up if you don’t enjoy seizures. 😉

Server Development Tips

Hi guys, due to the amount of requests, I will be putting FAQ pages and tutorials to the website on how to do certain aspects of server setup. One of my first tutorials will be how to convert PermissionsEx to GroupManager, and the next will be covering setting up and using a dedicated Linux host; furthermore, it will cover which operating systems I recommend and do not recommend.

Hopefully this will be of use to many.

Excessive Server Immaturity

Hello guys, I’m posting about the extreme immaturity that has been happening on the server. I was dealing with it for a while, but now it’s getting beyond ridiculous. You guys know how to spell, you can speak english, and you can talk without using the word faggot or “fgt”. Using these words occasionally was fine, but now it’s becoming ridiculous.

Is it possible for you guys to grow up? I am really getting tired of you guys acting like immature five year olds. I expect more out of you, we’re supposed to be a family friendly server.
