Due to the HUGE amount of changes with Minecraft 1.3.1, we’ve decided to reset the map so that everyone can have fun with the jungle pyramids and better NPC villages. The Flatlands were not reset, and neither were the Skylands. It’s going to be a while until the Bukkit team (the people who develop our server software) make a version compatible with Minecraft 1.3.1, so we figured we’d use this time to make the new spawn. Please don’t tell us to upgrade, we will as soon as possible but until then you can participate in chats to the server through our IRC channel (The chat page, up in the top). There might be a few plugin tweaks in the following week in order to accommodate Minecraft 1.3.1 (such as a planned re-colouring of the user prefixes) and possibly a spleef plugin. Other than that, the server experience should be the same, aside from the map.
Hope this clarifies things,
Jonathan Alfonso (alfonsojon)

As I’m sure you ALL have noticed, we had a period of downtime which lasted for something like a week. I would like to apologize for this but this was caused by an error on domain.com’s part (our domain registrar).
In other news, the long-anticipated PVP server is up! The website for it can be found at pvp.boxelcloud.com. To connect to the server, you can connect via pvp.live-craft.com, or 5.39.36.230. Have fun!
As most of you have seen by now via auto broadcasts on the server, the Livecraft PvP server is on its way. The server will include (not limited to): Factions, Mob Arena, specialised classes, a stream-line permission set-up, and much more!
What I feel you all should know is that there will be a new website for the PvP server, specifically, which will include ease-of-use, a ticket system for submitting reports or problems on the server, as well as a customised real-time map of the server.
Since some of you asked me questions about the website, I’ll tell you a bit more about what we’re planning (Edited by Shushker): As Drak had mentioned, the website will include a ticket system for submitting reports or problems on the server, but it will also include a unique home-page with the latest announcements, and possibly, don’t quote me on this, some special features for donators! So stay tuned for more updates while Drak & I work on it!
I can’t give an exact time of when the server will be open to the public, but expect it soon!
I’ve been busy the last 3 days working on the site. I’m trying to tweak the theme so it looks great while being even more functional than ever. There will soon be a photo gallery for promoting epic builds, you can pm others, and even upload your own screenshots.
The server’s chat is now linked to the website. Once registered, you can use the website to talk on the server without being in Minecraft!
Our site’s back up, forums (and wiki?) will be up soon. I’m adding a rules page, a beginners reference, and the requirements and rules of earning/maintaining a rank.
Hello Livecraft players!
In 12 days, we’ll reach our 1 year mark. I think this is a reason to celebrate!
On June 28th, we’ll perform some major updates, including a new website, completely re-written permissions and customer support! (Yes, it means you’ll be able to donate!) We will also have a party in the server!

Hi everyone,
Everybody by now should be well aware of a major problem that is spreading around rapidly.
Session Hijacking is the act of stealing your session ID and using it to go under your username.
To combat this, we recommend everybody become very aware of their surroundings. Please only join servers that are trusted or well known in the Minecraft community. If a random person invites you to go to a server, I would recommend that you check into it before you decide to go to that server.
Remember an easy 3-step process:
1) Do you trust that person? If yes, join. If no, go to next step.
2) Is it a trusted or well-known server? If yes, join. If no, go to next step.
3) If no to the above, do NOT join the server unless you are absolutely sure it is safe.
