We support Bedrock!

Through the use of a set of plugins called Geyser & Floodgate, we allow bedrock players to join & if both Bedrock & Java copies are owned, use their linked Java account on our server to play as the same user! Try it out!

To join from Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox, you’ll need to add “Livecraft9255” to your friends list. Once you do this, you’ll be able to join Livecraft by joining a cross platform friend’s world.

Livecraft Back Online

It’s been a long time coming, but Livecraft is back online. www.livecraft.us and www.livecraft.com have been bought by domain parkers, and they want over $2,000, so I’m now hosting it at livecraft.net. To join the server, simply point your Minecraft client to livecraft.net

See you soon!

Back at it again!

Livecraft, after a long time offline, has come back! No, this isn’t an April fool’s joke — it’s the real deal. Our server is now hosted by Server.pro, and our website is powered by WordPress. To help with hosting costs, you can make a donation here.

Livecraft is back online

I’m glad to say that Livecraft is back online. The move to Wisconsin was a fairly smooth one, and nothing was damaged during the move. Hope to see you back on Livecraft soon!

UUID Plugin Checklist

Livecraft is currently operating using Minecraft 1.7.5 server software that has been modified to support Minecraft versions 1.7.2 to 1.7.9. Although it works well, this is far from optimal as the new Minecraft versions (1.7.9 and 1.7.10) support name changing. Most plugins must be updated, meaning it is a very large update on the server side of things, resulting in many things that can prevent the update. A checklist will be provided here for what is currently working under 1.7.10 and what still needs to be updated.

At the current moment, name changing is NOT SUPPORTED. You WILL lose player data if you change your username, and the server WILL TREAT YOU AS A NEW PLAYER. In the event Mojang allows name changing in the near future, you accept this risk and the potential loss of data that goes along with it.

UUID-Ready:

  • Spigot for 1.7.10
  • CompatNoCheatPlus
  • [ # ] Craftbook
  • [ # ] LWC
  • MCBans
  • NoCheatPlus
  • Prism
  • ProtocolLib
  • Vanish
  • WorldEdit
  • [ # ] WorldGuard

[CLEAR] Not dependent upon UUID:

  • [ ? ] MotdManager
  • NCore
  • NTheEndAgain
  • Poke
  • [ ? ] SignEditor
  • WorldEdit

[BREAKING] Not UUID ready:

  • Essentials
  • mcMMO
  • [ x ] Multiverse

[NON-BREAKING] Not UUID ready:

  • GAListener
  • NoOp
  • TagAPI
  • Votifier

Status information:
[ ! ] = Unstable.
[ # ] = Version specific (1.7.8+ ONLY)
[ ? ] = Most likely to be replaced by an alternative
[ x ] = Most likely to be removed

Update #3

I have bought a new domain (livecraft.us) and we will be online by the end of the month, hopefully sooner.

Regards,
Jonathan Alfonso (alfonsojon)

Update #2

The map has been reset to use the new map. Changes will be made to it, but it is basically ready to play on. There is now a world border to prevent the world from growing too large.

Jonathan Alfonso (alfonsojon)

[IMPORTANT] We’re back!

Hey guys, just posting to say we’re back online! Here’s a picture of our current spawn 🙂

New world info:

  • World is 512 blocks high instead of 256 blocks high
  • World is using the seed livecraft instead of Livecraft
  • World is using the large biomes setting.

Enjoy!

[IMPORTANT] Update on Downtime ETA

Hey guys, sorry to delay, but I’ve been busy around July 4th, and now I’m tired. I have a lot of work to do on the server and I don’t want the server to be half-ready when I launch. My goal is to have it working as nicely as possible, so more downtime will be necessary. I can’t put deadlines on myself, but the goal is to have it online by this upcoming Thursday Sunday.

No guarantees, but that’s what I’m hoping for. Sorry for the delays,

Jonathan Alfonso (alfonsojon)

[IMPORTANT] ETA on updates

Livecraft is currently under maintenance. We will be fully operational by the end of the week, but we will be online sooner. Expect some issues, and as always, please report any issues to alfonsojon1997@gmail.com
